Anniversary

This year I wasn't planning on doing the cheesy I love my husband post because I didn't want to repeat the same things over again until I heard this song on the radio and I thought oh my gosh its our love song.

I knew I loved you - Savage Garden

Maybe it's intuition
but some things you just don't question
Like in your eyes, I see my future in an instant
And there it goes,
I think I found my best friend
I know that it might sound
more than a little crazy
but I believe...
There's just no rhyme or reason
Only the sense of completion
And in your eyes, I see
the missing pieces I'm searching for
I think I've found my way home
I know that it might sound
more than a little crazy
but I believe...
A thousand angels dance around you
I am complete now that I've found you
I knew I loved you before I met you
I think I dreamed you into life
I knew I loved you before I met you
I have been waiting all my life

I never thought I would hear a song that matched our story since you don't always go on vacation and change your life because you saw a guy across the room and knew before you even knew his name he was going to change your life forever.  I am complete now 6 years later, 3 kids, 4 moves and I know this is where I'm supposed to be.

Terrific Two!

My baby is 2.  These 2 years have flown by and she has definitely made her spot in this family.  She's a snuggler, she loves music, singing and dancing, and most of all mommy.  She has claimed mom for her own and does not want to share at all.
I made her cake for her birthday and Barbie (Darby as she is called in our home) was an easy, crazy challenge. I think we did pretty good!
 Oooh ahhhh!
 WOW!
And one of the favorite gift the keyboard! AKA NOISE MAKER!
She also got books from Grandma and Grandpa Porter, a nursery for her baby from Grandma and Grandpa Baltezore, a stroller for her baby, princess microphone, Barbie and Littlest Pet Shop.

Absolutely ridiculous

Who knew you could try so hard and not get any good results.  Practice makes perfect means nothing to these 3.
Little would you know that behind Owen's head is Jace half naked!
 A BUG!
 DID YOU SEE IT MOM!
 Singing a song
 Mom SERIOUSLY!
Yup, story of our lives!

Porter Reunion 2011

One of the things we look forward to during the summer is the Porter Family reunion.  This year all nine kids were there so they took the time take a pic.
Keeping Taylor occupied, don't she look amused!

This water faucet was the joy of the trip for the 5 and under crowd.

 CHEESE!

Super model! And daddy! And mommies glaring white leg!
The kids favorite thing to do was walk in the spooky forest.  It was a daily walk around the beautiful campground learning numbers by finding all the campsite poles up to 30 :) Educational, exercise and time consuming good times.
 Isn't he cute! Love him!
Emilee was the official photographer so when I get some pictures from her I'll be sure to post more.

T-Ball

Whose the cutest T-baller ever? Oh yeah that's my boy!
He was so excited to play can you tell?
Over half of his team we know from church so that made it easy to cheer when you already know all the kids names! :)

You like that stance? Oh yeah he's getting ready to steal!
Trying to get the other teams attention :)
Oh look at the home run quality swing! This was a great way to spend our summer! But I was so glad when it was over. Who knew 2 days a week would seem like an intense time commitment.

WATER!!!

Water is very important to my kids.  They love everything about it.  Then you add accessories and they can play for HOURS!!!
 $15 pool
 $15 slide
$2 water torpedos

3 hours of fun in the sun . . .
Priceless!
And as a side note you know your kids are going to be different but they both look
adorable in this swimming suit! Lily in this same suit!

Basement fun . . .

Ever wonder what your kids do when your not looking?
Guess how I found out, I loaded my camera onto the computer and there were pictures taken by a novice photographer.  Since Owen cannot be seen in any of these pictures I'm guessing he is the thief and photographer in question.
Or we could try fingerprint scanning.
Say cheese . . . and maybe we should clean up.
 Showing off favorites
 Practicing our OCD
At least exercise is going on.
Oh my wonderful kids!
