I'm BACK!!!!

Sorry for leaving you hanging so long ago. I've been trying to pull things together around my house and well if you know the troubles of our house a little project turns into 50 trips to home depot and all I wanted to do was paint Lily's room. It's all ready just waiting for daddy to decide what he wants to do with the wall texture.

My parents are here we are having fun. Although we can't decide what to get Lily for Christmas. Owen was so much easier. Her favorite toy right now is the Magna Doodle pen and she gets so mad at Owen when he tries to take it away from her. She starts shaking and then she squawks like a bird ready to attack. It's so cute.

When we finally get Lily's room done I'll definitely post a picture which reminds me we finally got our hard drive unfrozen and I was looking through it, great movie showing how much Owen loves Mommy.

Imagine we would have lost that and when Owen is a teenager and hates me for being 'so mean' I can pull this out and know my baby loves me.

Well everyone is up now so I shall say goodbye for now.

Scrappin crazy

I have got completely addicted to scrapbooking lately and it didn't help that we did some Halloween costume pictures of the kids already. The moment I saw the pictures a scrapbook page came into mind. (Crazy huh) So here is my creation. Thanks to photoshop and Anna.

Circle

Owen has been sitting all day with his magna doodle and drawing circles. Some of them are really good I'm so proud, but he wouldn't even put down the magna doodle for dinner. Drive me nuts the whole meal the magna doodle was 2 feet away and he's pointing at it and saying circle, circle . . . over and over. I would have taken a picture of his last circle of the evening but it looks more like a dragon so we'll try again tomorrow.

Lily on the other hand is still as attached as ever to mom. If I turn my back to her she starts whining until I turn around again and she starts smiling. So hard to be mad at that smile.

On the other hand Grandma and Grandpa Baltezore are coming to visit in October so the countdown has started! They get to see the kids just before Halloween. If they understood what next month meant I would tell them but since they don't I can't tell them until the day before.

This is why I try so hard

I totally stole these from my sister Anna the scrapbook princess but they were so cute I had to. My kids are so adorable huh.

It's so addictive I can't stop

It's true I started digi-scrapbooking and everytime I look at the computer I want to do more. Even now as I type this message I'm jones-ing to start another page. I needed to post some pictures though because I was on the phone with Anna for a ridculously long time today and she wanted to see the joy that was going on around me.

Leaving Owen to fend for himself with his toys and the TV didn't last long. I smelled something funny and I turned around to see my little boy painting his toes because he saw mommy doing it with herself and Lily and he felt left out.

So pretty huh. Also on the pretty front I tried my hand at jewelry making and made Lily a braclet. So cute. It's barely even the size of 2 fingers put together. Owen tried to steal it so we know it's strong. :)

The Fresno fair is a great big fair. . .

If your from Fresno you know that ends, "don't miss it don't even be late." We didn't go to the Fresno Fair we went to the East Idaho State Fair. Lisa has a bunch of pictures that I want to see of Cole and Owen. When I get those I'll probably post some.



It was great we looked at all sorts of stuff we can't afford to do with the house, bought a lot of fatty over priced food, played in the play areas (which owen and cole thought was the John Deere display). We were surprised the man at the display didn't mind the kids jumping all over the tractors. The only thing he cared to comment on was Owen turned the lights on this huge tractor that he could barely climb on.



Chet's favorite part was the petting zoo because of the puppies that were for sale in there. One day we'll get a dog but today is not the day. Our kids are enough.

Yellowstone National Park

After months of saying, "we're going" we finally went to Yellowstone. It was fun we got to see some animals, got to pay ridiculously high prices for food. Fun times!

*** Little known fact *** My mom lived in West Yellowstone for 2 summers when Grandpa Drolette worked for the railroad. Cool huh.

Owen and Chet went to go see this elk while I was in the car feeding Lily. This was the only animal we got out of the car to go closer to because he was across the river. Other people were tempting their fates coming within feet of bison and elks. They even had a family of elk cornered by a hill. Dumb people.

Stinkin' great in 08

The slogan this year for the family reunion was PU Porter University Stinkin great in 08. And well since I've been in the family this was the best family reunion. We rented a cabin which with 36 and 1/2 (baby Porter is still a few months off for a visit) people we needed extra space. There was a pool that Owen LOVED!!! He is a fish at heart. But he knows that he has to be in with someone thankfully. Lily was dubbed Tiger Lily because she was growling a anyone who tried to hold her.

We have misplaced our camera we took a picture in the car so it's in there, but with all the stuff moving around it was crazy. We are now headed to Yellowstone so blog at you later.

I forgot to blog on my Birthday!!

Well my birthday came and went it was packing day for the family reunion so I was super duper busy. My present from Cheddar was 3 roses for the 3 birthdays we have spent together. Oh so cute. Such a happy birthday.

It's official the Cheese is now 26. We celebrated by spending time with Jace, Grandma P, Gene, Lisa and Cole. One more birthday done one more to go!
