UPDATE!!!!

I know, I know it's been AWHILE! Life has been pretty crazy here after my last blog Anna was coming to visit so we packed up to go to Park City for an overnighter. It was a crazy morning trying to get Chet in for an eye appointment and we had a slow leak in one of our tires so I took it to Walmart so I could get the tire fixed and do our last minute shopping. I timed it perfectly and got all my shopping done by the time they got the tire done. Amazingly we left by noon.

We told Anna we'd give her a call when we got to Brigham City because it was about an hour away from SLC. We did give her a call at 2:30 to tell her we got to Brigham City but we also had just hit something laying in the road and it popped 2 tires. So we had to put a spare on one and get fix a flat for the other. We were only an exit away from the Brigham City Walmart so we hoped to have it all done quickly and be back on the road.

We got to the Walmart and the tire guy was still on lunch. When he got back it took him an hour to realize he was an idiot and couldn't fix the tire and he didn't have one to replace it. So we were sent to Les Schwab to get a tire and were in and out in 20 minutes. I wish we would have known that was there. SO we were very late to meet Anna and Ben. We went to Cracker Barrel for dinner and Owen sat for ten minutes with his arm over his head and he wouldn't talk to anyone. When his pancake arrived he felt no one was out to get him and ate and played with the little toys they had on the tables. Needless to say even though me, Chet and the kids were in the same room no one had any issues getting to sleep that night.

The next morning Chet and Ben went snow boarding and the rest of us went power shopping!!! It was outlet heaven. The $2.99 sale was one at the Children's Place, we had coupons to every children's store there. We made out like bandits. After 4 and 1/2 hours, a trip to McDonald's, bribery of Mrs. Fields cookies and a sucker we were done. We bought $1050 worth of clothes. Did we spend that much NEVER!!! We paid $300, spilt 3 ways. It felt great I spent $100 and Lily has clothes till next year and Owen got a few things. Next year I am going back again but without children because Owen totally got left out because I don't like slogan shirts, or sport team shirts, ripped pants or ultra preppy wear (we thought it looked like we were going to take the kids yachting).

After an eventful day we went home and had a peaceful weekend until Ben got sick on Monday and Anna got sick on Tuesday. The only thing I can explain it by was a couple other families at church got sick Sunday night and Ben had gone for a hall walk during sacrament and he must have encountered them.
