10 months already
I cannot believe my little baby is 10 months old. This time last year we were thrown for a loop and who knew what was going to happen next. This little sweetheart that caused so many problems before she was born has turned into just the sweetest little angel we could have ever had. Isn't that just the cutest little fishy face. She is teething right now and she chews on everything including her cheeks and lips. Makes you just want to kiss her.
Update on the living room
For those who did not remember or never even knew we had nasty baseboard heaters and PINK carpeting. It was the bane of my existence. But we lived with it until I ripped down the wallpaper and started a big ole' project.

A Revelation times 3
You know there are so many downsides of pregnancy and motherhood that sometimes you have to stop and wonder what was I thinking. Then tonight all 3 of my kids made it so real for me.
Taylor she held my face up to hers and I kissed her cheek and she turned for me to do it on the other side and she just kept flipping her face until she stopped and snuggled my face.
Then Owen gave me big kisses all over my face before he went to bed and when I tucked him in he was just grinning and said 'I love you, Mom.'
Lily started crying in her sleep and I went in to check on her and she just hugged me and fell back to sleep just squeezing me.
That's why I do it. In one night just stopping to be with each one of them for a few seconds. I feel so blessed to be living this life. I know people look at us and think . . . so many rude and just ridiculous things. I hope that through it all even though I am exhausted and cranky, I love my life, I wouldn't change how close my kids came together, I wouldn't change the whirlwind romance of me and Chet. I love it all!

And on a serious note. . .
I know I usually do pictures but I had to add my daily drama today. Last Thursday while Chet was at work and I was getting ready for bed I heard an awful sound coming from the bedrooms. It stopped and I thought it was nothing. A minute passed by and I heard muffled screaming and I ran to the girls room because usually its them who wake up in the middle of the night. It was Owen. He was sitting in his bed and looked pale as a ghost and was saying breathe, breathe. I ran and picked him up mid-breath and it was like grabbing a skeleton because with each breath his ribs folded all the way back to his spine.
This of course had to happen while Chet was at work. I called 911, hung, up called the doctor hung up called Chet and was freaking out and since he had no clue what was going on he said call the doctor and at this point I was thinking I don't want to have to deal with explaining to a doctor who was asleep what was going on so I called 911. I live in Shelley, Idaho I know nothing happens in Shelley because I have never heard sirens or anything in the 2 years we have lived here. The moment I told the operator my address the first responder was at my door. I normally pretend I don't know someone if I know full well they have no clue who I am but when I am freaking out over my baby I do not have tact. The first responder walks in and I know his mom and I said Travis I don't know whats going on he can't breathe. Poor guy looked at me like say what?!?!? who are you? He put oxygen on Owen and took his vitals when another man walks in and starts helping out. I still have no clue why my son isn't breathing normally and the oxygen wasn't working. Two more guys walk in (I tell you apparently there is no emergencies here) So, I now have 4 men giving Owen oxygen, taking vitals, writing notes trying to figure out if he sounds better, which he did not so they put a steroid in a tube attached to the oxygen to relax his airway. He was still coughing but because he wasn't screaming anymore he was sounding better but you could tell he was still trying way to hard to breathe.
At 1 o'clock in the morning I had to call over a friend to watch the girls so I could go with Owen to the hospital, on the way they gave him another breathing treatment to calm his airway. He was finally looking better. At the hospital they gave him a liquid steroid treatment and another oxygen treatment and he started playing with toys at the hospital. It turns out the he was developing or had the croup and since we got him treated so well so fast he never had anymore symptoms. The morning after you wouldn't have guessed that the night before he was struggling to even breathe, he was playing and running around like normal.

Just a beautiful day in the neighborhood. . . .
Would you be mine . . . could you be mine? Oh Mr. Rodgers you were a little slow and probably now-a-days kind of creepy but he did have a good song and could toss a shoe. Just kidding, today was a beautiful day and how did we spend it? Trying to get every outdoor project done before it decided to be ugly again and running what seemed like a thousand errands. We did however squeeze in a little time for fun.
Taylor is the only baby I've ever met the will sit in the grass no questions asked.
After Chet got the grass mowed for the first time this season and turned on the water Owen looked at me like it was Christmas and asked if he could run in the water. Well, of course I did an hour of uninterrupted fun.
Just chillin'
The kids love the camera and always want me to take pictures of them when we are just being lazy around the house. Here are some cute ones.

My babies
The girls woke up from their nap yesterday way early and were playing so cute that I pulled out the camera.
If you know Lily this is how she looks at people when she likes them but doesn't want to admit it.

Taylor was growling at everyone yesterday, it was so cute.
It was so hard to get the girls to look at the same time. And well we saw how the last time a girls shot went with Lily choking Taylor.

Oops We're Back!!!
My mom informed me that according to my blog we are still basking in the California sun so I needed to do a itty bitty update!
We are back and once we got into the swing of things again I got strep throat and Owen has a sinus infection. It is sad when he is sick like this because he just lays there most of the day and when I make nap time and bedtime announcements he just gets up and goes to his room without any sort of protest. I know that should be a mothers dream but it was a nice day out today so he should have been annoying me all day to go outside to jump and swing and play.
To back track we are home from Cali and we had a wonderful time. And these were my FAVORITE pictures.
